HOW MUCH DOES AN EPC COST IN NEWPORT?

These prices are inclusive of V.A.T.
We lodge the EPC on the EPC Register, and send you a PDF of the EPC.
WHAT IS AN EPC?
EPC is short for Energy Performance Certificate. An EPC is a 4 page document produced after an Energy Performance Assessment has been carried out on a property, by a fully qualified Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA).
We only carry out Energy Performance Assessments on domestic properties.
The EPC will show the Energy Performance rating of the property. The rating will be between 1 and 100. 1 is the least energy efficient and 100 is the most energy efficient (some of the houses now being build are ultra energy efficient and score 100+).
The EPC will be lodged on the EPC Register, which is a searchable public register that can be found here.
The EPC will also show details about each element of the property such as Walls, Loft, Heating System, Windows etc..
It will also list any recommended improvements to the property that would increase the property's energy efficiency.
WHY DO I NEED AN EPC IN NEWPORT?
An EPC Energy Performance Certificate is a legally required document for selling (where the property is being marketed) or a private letting of a domestic, residential property. (They are also required for non-domestic and commercial buildings).
An EPC must be provided free of charge to interested parties at the earliest opportunity, and a copy of the EPC must be provided to the person who takes up the tenancy, or the successful buyer.
WHAT IS INVOLVED IN DOING AN EPC IN NEWPORT?
